This was my first mineral makeup purchase. I have blimished skin and and live in South Florida. I needed something that was light and didn't add to my skin problems. This makeup fit the bill! My skin feels great when I wear it! I feel like I am not wearing anything. My face has cleared up some and the concealer is like a "magic eraser". The price was great. I never bought mineral makeup because of the high price. You deffinately do not get what you paid for! You get much more! I have become a lifetime user and will gladly recomend this product to anyone.
There is a "learning curve". The first time I used it I made a bit of a mess, but after a few days it has become much easier and cleaner to apply. The only thing I don't like is the bronzer. I think it may because I'm not sure how to use it. It makes my face look dirty. So I just don't use it.

It feels really gritty and dirty on my face so that was a big down side for me. its probably slightly overpriced for the actual product. It does a good job of mattifying ... maybe to good lol . I like the brush it comes with because it picks up makeup pretty well unlike my other brush that is soooo soft that I like it more for the feel than for the actual application :) .

This is my first time order of I.Q. I purchased the Light set as I am very fair with dark brown hair. I do like the products. The face powder colors to me are a little lighter than I have used in the Bare Minerals line. Since you get the next darker light color it helped a lot.I received Light and Fair. I am very impressed with their Silk Primer that comes with the kit! I use it sparingly as they recommend. It works great as the primer for the powder. The Radiant Rose Cheek color looked so very lavender purple I was worried. Once trying it, is the best color for me I have ever used! I can't say I would re-purchase everything in this kit but the primer,blusher and eye shadows really stood out to me. So glad we have the power of choice! I also purchased a kit from European Bare minerals and Loved all of it! I feel their products are very close to Bare Min's. So check out their items as well. I will be a repeat customer to I.Q. for some items. Their shipping was so fast, got my order in three days. The order was sent in heavy paper envelope that had torn some in shipping. Two of my powders lids had loosened and I did loose a little. Other than that; no other problem. Also I have kept my old empty containers of Bare Min's. Good thing. I had to place my Rose blush into one with a sifter. The one it comes in has no sifter and twice I almost lost all of it. The pricing of this product is great and the selections that come with it are good.
